There are different skin types namely, oily, dry, and combination. There can me other issues associated with it like flaking, dullness, acne, and many more. According to dermatologists, if your skin looks:

  • shiny, you have oily skin
  • flaky, red, or irritated, you have dry skin
  • oily in some areas and dry in others, you have combination skin

Food that can be good for dry skin which might be thirsty is avocado, olive oil, and salmon. Excess caffeine and alcohol can be worse as it dries up the skin.

People think oil creates more oil. However, anti-inflammatory oil can reduce it. Avocado, fish, flaxseed, and olive are foods with high anti-inflammatory oils. 

People with combination skin don’t need to ditch carbs entirely. But experts say it’s important to pay attention to which types of grains and wheat you’re eating. When choosing carbs, opt for [those that are] high in protein and low glycemic, such as brown rice or quinoa.
